This Thermostatic Cartridge contains a Vernet Wax Sensor as used by several shower cabin and steam shower suppliers in their shower valves. This silver finished model is the LATEST generator of improved performance and arrived on the UK market in January 2014. Providing the same reliable Vernet Wax sensor but in a new case that is designed to inhibit build up on the valve casing in harder water areas.This is a SCREW IN type and can be used to replace an existing Vernet sensor fitted cartridge or as a replacement for the Type 8 /  / SP182 as sold here as well as 'Screw Version' or SP051 as is may also be called from other suppliers.
